On the road to the lagoons, a little out of the way of the center of El Cotillo, this restaurant full of white and blue seems lost in the sand of the desert. Once settled, you can admire the ocean.
The waiters are very attentive and smiling. The dishes are prepared with great taste. And everything is a treat: fresh fish of the day, beef fillet of absolute tenderness, delicious tiramisu… we really recommend this address.

It was also an opportunity to discover the barraquito, a typical Canarian drink. Here are the ingredients and the recipe:

– 1 freshly prepared espresso (very hot)
– 25 cl of sweetened condensed milk
– 1 dose of Licor 43
– Lemon zest
– 1 pinch of cinnamon
– Milk (milk froth)

the layers should not mix but overlap. And to admire the beautiful patterns of the preparation, use an elongated and transparent glass. The condensed milk is first placed at the bottom of the glass. Then one or two spoonfuls of Licor 43 are gently poured. Then the expresso is gently poured on the back of a spoon, always so that the layers do not mix. On top, pour the milk mousse, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon and place the lemon zest (without the white skin) on the foam.
